Responsibilities
- Manage month-end close processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles with 99.8% accuracy thresholds
- Analyze financial data using advanced Excel and QuickBooks Online platforms
- Prepare tax documentation and compliance filings for multi-state operations
- Lead internal audits and process improvement initiatives
- Mentor junior accounting staff on regulatory compliance (GAAP/FASB)
- Develop cash flow forecasting models for executive leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
