Key Responsibilities:

- Manage general ledger accounting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for internal stakeholders and external auditors.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and potential risks.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with the finance team to optimize cash flow management and budgeting processes.
- Mentor junior accounting staff and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in general accounting or financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of financial regulations, auditing standards, and internal controls.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, capable of presenting complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
