Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, including bank reconciliations and intercompany transactions.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate payments.
- Assist in the annual audit process and coordinate with external auditors.
- Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Develop and improve internal financial reporting systems and workflows.
- Collaborate with department heads to prepare budget forecasts and financial projections.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or a related area.
- CPA certification is a strong plus.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
