In this role, you will oversee our daily accounting operations, ensure compliance with GAAP, and play a pivotal role in our financial planning processes.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for internal stakeholders and external auditors.
- Perform account reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and intercompany accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state tax returns and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions with high accuracy.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial processes and internal controls.
- Conduct internal audits to identify risks and implement corrective actions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance; CPA certification is a plus.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
