Responsibilities
- Manage daily general ledger activities and ensure accurate financial recording.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts.
- Assist with external audits and internal control implementations.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting process by analyzing variances.
- Prepare and file corporate tax returns and support documentation.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end close process efficiently.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience preferred.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Candidate in good standing is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and internal control procedures.
- Excellent analytical skills with a high attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
