As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing financial data, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing strategic insights to support business growth.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable reconciliation.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP standards.
- Assist in the preparation of annual federal and state tax returns, ensuring timely and accurate filing.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts to ensure data integrity.
- Conduct internal audits and recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast budgets, track variances, and support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA certification is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) and advanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of US tax regulations and internal control procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
