As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of our financial reporting, managing complex accounting processes, and supporting senior leadership with financial analysis.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the full cycle of accounting operations, including month-end and year-end close processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L) in strict accordance with GAAP and internal control standards.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, resolving discrepancies and maintaining healthy cash flow.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost savings.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual budget, forecasts, and long-term financial planning.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives and operational reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree or CPA certification preferred).
- Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within a corporate or financial services environment.
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and accounting software.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong communication skills, capable of presenting financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
