Responsibilities
- Oversee the full cycle of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and close processes.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, including Balance Sheets and P&Ls, in accordance with GAAP.
- Manage general ledger accounts and perform detailed reconciliations of bank statements, credit cards, and inter-company accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of tax schedules and support external audits to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes, internal controls, and operational efficiency.
- Prepare and analyze variance analysis reports to identify trends and cost-saving opportunities.
- Act as a mentor to junior accounting staff and provide training on accounting policies and software systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or public accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of explaining complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
