Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Oversee the general ledger, ensuring accurate recording of all financial transactions and account reconciliations.
- Manage the preparation and timely filing of federal, state, and local tax returns.
- Conduct internal audits and variance analyses to identify areas for cost reduction and process improvement.
- Collaborate with department heads to develop and monitor annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes with high efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- CPA certification or CMA designation is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks) and MS Excel.
- Deep understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial data for stakeholders.
