Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and timely posting of financial transactions.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and internal policies.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts to ensure all balances are accurate.
- Assist with the annual audit process, including the preparation of audit schedules and supporting documentation.
- Develop and monitor departmental budgets, tracking variances and providing recommendations for cost control.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all invoices are validated and paid accurately.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and reporting efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Master’s degree or CPA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP) and advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
