Responsibilities
- Manage the full cycle of month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Perform general ledger reconciliations and resolve complex accounting discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations and company policies.
- Assist in the annual external audit process and coordinate with external auditors.
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting to support executive decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is a plus.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
