Key Responsibilities:

- Manage general ledger accounting and ensure accurate financial reporting in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Prepare, analyze, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Oversee the monthly and annual closing process, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure timely filing with federal and state authorities.
- Conduct internal audits and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support budgeting processes.
- Mentor junior accounting staff and provide training on financial policies and procedures.
Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Master’s degree or CPA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting environment.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) and advanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting techniques.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and integrity.
