Responsibilities
- Manage the general ledger and perform monthly and annual close procedures.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, for internal and external stakeholders.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate transactions.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state tax filings and ensure compliance with local regulations.
- Conduct internal audits and recommend process improvements to enhance financial controls.
- Collaborate with the finance team to develop and monitor annual budgets and forecasts.
- Maintain accurate records and assist with external audits as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
