Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and up-to-date.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, including reconciling bank statements and resolving discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Support the budgeting process by providing variance analysis and forecasting insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and reporting efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Master’s degree or CPA/CMA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and internal controls.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
