Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Manage daily general ledger accounting operations, including account reconciliation and month-end close procedures.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis for management reporting.
- Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with federal and state tax regulations.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate processing.
- Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits and tax filings.
- Provide financial guidance and support to department heads regarding cost containment and budget management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Master’s degree (CPA/CMA) preferred.
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial analysis.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Deep understanding of GAAP, tax laws, and financial reporting regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex financial data clearly.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
