Responsibilities
- Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all financial statements are accurate and timely.
- Prepare complex financial reports and analyses to support executive decision-making and budgeting.
- Manage general ledger accounts and ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Assist external auditors during annual audits and prepare required documentation.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and intercompany accounts.
- Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency in the accounting department.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage project budgets and forecasting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or CMA certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in financial software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data clearly.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
