Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including processing invoices and collections.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and coordinate with external auditors during annual reviews.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.
- Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree or CPA certification is a plus).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data clearly.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
