Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- General Ledger Management: Manage the general ledger, including account reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the development of annual budgets and perform monthly rolling forecasts.
- Compliance & Audits: Coordinate with external auditors and ensure all internal controls and compliance requirements are met.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Oversee the processing of invoices, payments, and revenue recognition.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive financial information with discretion.
