Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with precision
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights for strategic decision-making
- Manage accounts payable, receivable, and payroll operations with efficiency
- Conduct detailed variance analysis and financial forecasting to support growth initiatives
- Oversee audit processes and liaise with external auditors to ensure seamless compliance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software (Sage 100 a plus)
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and internal control frameworks
- Proven ability to manage complex financial operations and reporting cycles
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication skills to present financial data to non-financial stakeholders
- Experience in mid-size company accounting environments preferred
