Responsibilities
- Manage complex multi-entity financial statements and regulatory compliance
- Lead month-end closing processes with variance analysis and reconciliations
- Develop and implement internal controls for SOX compliance
- Prepare and present detailed financial forecasts and budget models
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and cash flow optimization
- Coordinate annual audits and tax preparation engagements
- Mentor junior staff using advanced Excel and QuickBooks Pro
- Advise clients on tax efficiency and business growth strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years public/private accounting experience
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX, and multi-state tax regulations
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel
- Proven track record with audit coordination and financial modeling
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Texas CPA license or actively pursuing certification
