Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly financial statements with variance analysis
- Lead month-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Manage complex accounts payable/receivable cycles for 50+ clients
- Develop and maintain internal controls ensuring SOX compliance
- Collaborate with audit teams during external examinations
- Implement process improvements using ERP systems (NetSuite/SAP)
- Provide financial forecasting and budget support to executive leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with 4+ years experience
- CPA certification or actively pursuing (partial credit given)
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Demonstrated GAAP and tax compliance expertise
- Experience with multi-state tax filings and audit preparation
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage competing deadlines in fast-paced environment
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
