Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations for 15-20 high-value client portfolios
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements with GAAP compliance
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes
- Implement and optimize internal controls to ensure audit readiness
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and variance analysis
- Train junior accountants on financial software and compliance standards
- Conduct tax preparation and filing for multi-state entities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel with Power Query
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting and regulatory compliance
- Experience managing audit processes with Big 4 firms
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Active Arizona CPA license or ability to obtain within 90 days
