Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to support strategic decision-making and identify cost optimization opportunities
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX regulations, and internal controls
- Lead budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis for key business units
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial audits and tax compliance
- Develop and implement process improvements for accounting workflows
- Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA required
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment
- Expertise in financial reporting, GAAP compliance, and internal controls
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Oracle, SAP) and Excel
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Proven experience with multi-state tax compliance and audits
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present financial insights to stakeholders
