Responsibilities
- Manage month-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Oversee general ledger maintenance and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for stakeholders
- Lead internal audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting
- Optimize accounting systems and process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and regulatory requirements
- Proven experience with month-end close processes
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
