Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Lead GAAP-compliant financial statement preparation for executive stakeholders
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and cash flow optimization
- Conduct internal audits and implement robust internal controls
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Utilize NetSuite and Excel for advanced data analysis and variance reporting
- Maintain compliance with federal/state tax regulations and SOX requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expert proficiency in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced skills in NetSuite, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Excel (VBA a plus)
- Proven track record in month-end close and multi-state tax compliance
- Strong analytical abilities with attention to detail and accuracy
- Exceptional communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
