Responsibilities:
- Manage daily accounting operations, including general ledger (GL) maintenance and reconciliation.
- Prepare complex financial statements and assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual audits.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate payments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and reporting.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities to drive business growth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CPA candidate status.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or public accounting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls.
- Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail.
