Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close processes and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and ensure timely processing of transactions
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for executive leadership review
- Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Conduct audits and reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy
- Lead process improvement projects to enhance accounting efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in remote/hybrid environments
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting and month-end close procedures
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and regulations
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in virtual teams
- Proven track record of meeting deadlines in fast-paced settings
