Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly financial statements with GAAP compliance
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including A/P, A/R, and general ledger maintenance
- Lead client audits and ensure regulatory compliance for financial reporting
- Develop financial models and forecasting reports for strategic decision-making
- Coordinate tax preparation and planning initiatives for corporate clients
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sector
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration
- Proven experience with multi-state tax compliance and audit procedures
