Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including GL maintenance, month-end closing, and financial reporting
- Oversee AP/AR processes with strict adherence to SOX compliance standards
- Prepare detailed financial statements and variance analysis for executive leadership
- Lead tax preparation and compliance initiatives for multi-state operations
- Implement process improvements using ERP systems (NetSuite/SAP)
- Coordinate external audits and liaise with banking institutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of public/private accounting experience in NYC
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Deep knowledge of GAAP and NYS tax regulations
- Proven ability to manage month-end close deadlines
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
