Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting for 15-20 corporate clients
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes
- Implement and optimize accounting systems for efficiency
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and California tax regulations
- Supervise junior accounting staff and provide mentorship
- Develop client-specific financial strategies and forecasting models
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of public accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel
- Proven track record with multi-state tax filings
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and client management abilities
- Familiarity with construction or agricultural industry accounting
- Professional certification (CPA/ACMA) required
