Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements for diverse industry clients
- Lead internal controls implementation and SOX compliance documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and variance analysis
- Optimize accounting workflows using NetSuite and advanced Excel modeling
- Mentor junior accountants and provide technical guidance on GAAP standards
- Conduct forensic accounting investigations for client audit support
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with CPA certification required
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Expert proficiency in NetSuite, QuickBooks, and advanced Excel functions
- Deep understanding of GAAP, SOX compliance, and multi-state tax regulations
- Proven ability to manage complex financial reporting cycles with minimal supervision
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for client interactions
