Responsibilities
- Manage month-end/year-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for portfolio companies
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and industry regulations
- Lead internal audit coordination and external auditor communications
- Develop financial models for forecasting and budgeting initiatives
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA required)
- 5+ years public accounting or corporate finance experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and Excel
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, tax compliance, and audit procedures
- Experience with SaaS or tech industry accounting preferred
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Proven track record of process optimization
