Responsibilities
- Manage month-end closing processes and financial reporting
- Prepare GAAP-compliant financial statements and audit documentation
- Analyze variance reports and recommend corrective actions
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and general ledger maintenance
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting
- Ensure compliance with SEC regulations and internal controls
- Lead process improvement initiatives for finance operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of public/private accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel (VBA skills a plus)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, SOX, and SEC regulations
- Proven experience with multi-state tax compliance
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to thrive in urgent, high-volume environments
