Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including GL reconciliation, month-end closes, and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and cash flow optimization
- Prepare detailed financial statements and compliance documentation for stakeholders
- Analyze variance reports and recommend cost-saving initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and audits
- Maintain internal controls and ensure SOX compliance
- Lead process improvements using accounting software and automation tools
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with CPA certification (required)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate finance
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel functions
- Demonstrated success in month-end closing and financial analysis
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, IRS regulations, and Colorado tax codes
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
