Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities
- Prepare and maintain complex budgets, forecasts, and financial models
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic financial initiatives
- Lead process optimization projects to enhance financial operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems (Sage 100 experience a plus)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Proven track record of improving financial processes and controls
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and audit preparation
