Responsibilities
- Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes for diverse client portfolios
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Lead internal and external audit processes with external auditors and regulatory bodies
- Develop and implement robust accounting systems and process improvements
- Provide strategic financial guidance to senior management on cost optimization and growth opportunities
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and industry-specific regulations
- Mentor junior accountants and supervise financial reporting team
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and advanced Excel functions
- Proven track record of leading successful audit processes and compliance initiatives
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication abilities for client presentations and executive reporting
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and international accounting standards
- Ability to thrive in remote work environments with self-discipline
