Responsibilities
- Oversee the complete monthly and annual closing cycle, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare complex financial statements and variance analysis reports for management review.
- Manage general ledger accounts, perform reconciliations, and investigate discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and ensure compliance with GAAP standards.
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and reporting efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA certification is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial analysis, and budgeting principles.
