Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes with strict adherence to GAAP standards
- Lead audit preparation and coordinate with external auditors for seamless compliance
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls to ensure financial accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Provide strategic financial consulting to clients optimizing tax efficiency and operational performance
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and general ledger maintenance
- Implement process improvements using advanced accounting software solutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with public or corporate sector exposure
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Sage 100, and Microsoft Excel with advanced functions
- Deep understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and industry compliance standards
- Proven track record in financial statement preparation and audit coordination
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Excellent communication skills for client-facing financial consultations
- Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting automation
