Responsibilities
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations
- Oversee general ledger maintenance and financial reporting for diverse client portfolios
- Lead audit preparation and liaise with external auditors to ensure compliance
- Develop and implement financial controls to mitigate risks and optimize operations
- Analyze financial trends and provide actionable insights to senior leadership
- Mentor junior accountants and contribute to process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate sector
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to manage deadlines and prioritize competing tasks
