Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Manage general ledger reconciliations and oversee the month-end and year-end close processes.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations and tax requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of annual audits and support external auditors as needed.
- Collaborate with department heads to improve financial processes and reporting accuracy.
- Prepare and review accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure timely processing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, SAP).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
