Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance and regulatory accuracy
- Lead month-end closing processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis
- Manage complex financial reporting for multi-entity portfolios and international operations
- Develop and implement internal controls to mitigate financial risks and ensure audit readiness
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives
- Mentor junior accountants and optimize accounting workflows using advanced ERP systems
- Conduct ad-hoc financial modeling and analysis for executive decision support
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel with Power Query
- Demonstrated expertise in month-end closing and SOX compliance procedures
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Exceptional attention to detail with proven track record of error-free reporting
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder presentations and cross-departmental collaboration
