Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance and accuracy
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes
- Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable financial insights to leadership
- Implement and maintain internal controls to mitigate financial risks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Lead external audit preparation and tax compliance documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate setting
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software (e.g., SAP)
- Proven track record of improving financial reporting processes
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and regulatory reporting
- Excellent communication skills with ability to translate complex data
