Responsibilities
- Manage month-end closing processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable workflows and optimize cash flow operations
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities
- Prepare and present monthly/quarterly financial statements to senior leadership
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and regulatory requirements
- Lead audit preparation and coordinate with external auditors
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls and documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate finance
- Expertise in month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (NetSuite, SAP) and MS Excel
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with SOX compliance and internal controls
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities in deadline-driven environments
