Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and expense management
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and variance reports
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic financial planning
- Lead audits and implement process improvements for efficiency
- Mentor junior accounting staff and provide guidance on complex transactions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and MS Excel
- Expertise in financial reporting, audits, and compliance frameworks
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with remote work and virtual collaboration tools
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate financial data
