Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP standards.
- Manage the general ledger accounting process, ensuring accurate and timely reconciliation of all bank accounts and credit card statements.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state tax returns, ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct internal audits and implement robust internal controls to mitigate financial risk.
- Prepare and analyze budget reports, providing variance analysis to senior management.
- Process high-volume accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with a focus on accuracy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial forecasting and long-term planning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is required.
- CPA certification or CMA designation is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software (SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks).
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex financial data and present it clearly.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
