Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including GL maintenance, month-end close, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and tax compliance
- Develop financial models for forecasting and budgeting initiatives
- Lead internal audits and process improvement projects
- Mentor junior accountants using modern accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Oracle, or SAP)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
