Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Oversee month-end/year-end closing processes and ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards
- Lead tax preparation and planning initiatives for corporate and individual clients
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls and accounting systems
- Manage audit processes and coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies
- Provide strategic financial insights to guide business decision-making
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA license required
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems (Sage 100 preferred)
- Demonstrated expertise in tax compliance, financial reporting, and auditing
- Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in deadline-driven environments
