Responsibilities
- Oversee full-cycle accounting operations including month-end closing, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance and accuracy
- Manage accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and tax compliance
- Develop financial forecasts, budgets, and variance analysis for senior leadership
- Lead internal audits and collaborate with external auditors during annual reviews
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting efficiency
- Maintain financial systems and ensure data integrity across platforms
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with public/private sector exposure
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel functions
- Deep understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and SOX compliance
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Proven experience managing financial audits and regulatory reporting
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present financial insights clearly
