Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting for 15+ tech startup clients using QuickBooks and Xero
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes for portfolio companies
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing
- Implement and optimize internal controls for compliance
- Collaborate with CFOs on strategic financial modeling and forecasting
- Maintain GAAP compliance and prepare tax documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years public accounting or tech finance experience
- Expertise in QuickBooks, Xero, and ERP systems
- Advanced Excel skills with data visualization capabilities
- Texas CPA license or active pursuit required
- Proven experience with SaaS/tech industry accounting
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication skills for client-facing interactions
