Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize monthly/quarterly close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for operational efficiency.
- Prepare GAAP-compliant financial statements and supporting documentation for audits.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate budgeting and forecasting.
- Lead process improvements using advanced Excel automation and ERP systems.
- Comply with SOX regulations and internal control requirements.
- Mentor junior accountants and drive best practices across the finance department.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting or corporate finance.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, QuickBooks, and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP).
- Demonstrated expertise in month-end closes, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Experience in SOX compliance and internal control testing.
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to collaborate with remote teams.
